Genting UK’s plans for a £120 million super casino at the NEC have been given the go ahead by Solihull Council’s planning committee.

Sportingbet is now in advanced discussions with land-based operator Foxwoods Resort Casino about providing it with an online platform for intra-state poker and casino games, such as in Connecticut, as part of a joint venture.

Melco Crown Entetainment Ltd. has already submitted a formal request to the government to include a casino in its Studio City project.
