FINLAND - Gaming software developer and operator, Playtech Ltd., has entered into a partnership with the Finnish government to provide online poker games to Finnish players.
The agreement, signed by Finland's Finnish Slot Machine Association (RAY) and the Israeli gaming company, allowed for Playtech to launch a legal, government-sanctioned platform for online poker games. It currently offers seven poker games to online players.
According to Kari Hvttinen, head of RAY's internet gaming operations:

With our very strong focus on responsible gaming, we have been pushing the frontiers of technology and integration through this process.
